NiyAI is a startup in the AI and EdTech space seeking Software Engineers at all experience levels.
Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Phnom Penh.
As a Software Engineer at NiyAI, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications. You will work on both the front-end and back-end of the products and be involved in all stages of the software development life cycle. As this is an early-stage startup, the range of duties may highly vary from day-to-day.
Required Skills
- Bilingual English & Khmer. The office language is English.
- At least one of:
- Web application development, preferably in PHP and/or Python with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or,
- Mobile application development, especially Flutter
- Database systems
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Understanding of software development principles and best practices
Optional
The following aren’t required, but may be of interest:
- Teaching experience or qualifications
- Experience with AI, including LLMs
- Familiarity with written Chinese or Japanese
